He looks rather like a peacock! A pirate peacock – Hmmm, that just doesn’t strike the right note of threat.
So, a Grateful Dead fan with a parrot on his shoulder walks into and bar, and the bartender says, “Wow, where did you get that?” And . . .

That reminds me of one time when I went to visit my parents. There is a huge magnolia tree in the front yard, and that day if was full of feral parrots. The next day they were gone never to be seen again.
