We were eating lunch and a woman at the next table had the speaker phone on and the phone propped up opposite her. I guess whoever she was talking to (at full volume) couldn’t make it in person. She talked the whole time we were eating . Loudly!
I usually make a remark pertinent to the conversation like, “Go ahead, tell her to break up with her boyfriend.” Then I get the dirty look and I say, “Oh, I’m sorry, was that supposed to be a private conversation?”
