The Truth isn’t the only thing that’s biting him in the ass. His own words are doing it as well, and so are his choices for filling seats in his administration.
But while we watch him, the GOP is dismantling the work of millions of people over a century of sacrifice and gradual changes for the better, wiping out the foundations of the middle class.
My opinion: I hope that someday Stantis dismounts from his seesaw of political art - paid purveyor of Chicago Tribune Republicanism at one end, sincere artistic conscience at the other end - and uses his considerable talents to consistently draw the Truth as he sees it. It seems his gift is often mercenary to his employer, but glimmers of honesty occasionally shine through.
I think the monologue is inaccurate. The more I listen to Trump, the more certain I become that doesn’t refuse to recognize the truth, but that he really is incapable of recognizing it.
