Why is it that so-called ‘conservatives’ lie so much?

And why is their base so comfortable with it?

That nails it. To see adults Lie so openly that they must have convinced themselves that they must be True because That is the Way They see things is so disheartening. How we ended up with two of the worst people to choose from for president, I don’t know. I did NOT VOTE For either of These two crazies or any of their sycophants.

I love the first panel, so reminiscent of the old EC comics. And the Horror is REAL, making it more terrifying.

No, but you’re “incorrect” in pretty much every other way, too…

Spicer and Conway are simply following the dictates of trump. He’s sick, and his lies are the product of a compulsive mental illness. Spicer and Conway need to please the sociopath. It’s their job, and it comes with the territory. Their positions make them do crazy stuff, which seems outrageous to outsiders, but within the sociopathic bubble of malignant narcissism, they literally have a single choice. They can lie, or they can quit. If they fail to lie along with the boss (and, importantly lie TO the boss) it’s the same as quitting and they’d be fired immediately.

We should stop all white Christians at the border, you are more likely to get shot by one of them than anyone else. And this is a secular nation, they just keep trying to force their religion on everyone. Look at how much damage they have done in the middle east, do you want them to do that here?

Tim McVeigh wasn’t really religious, but he was a racist trained in our military and he wanted separate places for those not white. What are called “ethno-states” like National (Racial) Homelands patterned after apartheid S. Africa, as in “The Handmaid’s Tale” which is what some out there really want. Not surprising that black separatists find common ground with the white ones to get what they each want.
