Where the democrats go wrong is in the thinking that the repubs can be fair and reasonable people.

The Leadership of the D’s are Neo-Liberal, they seem to facilitate the Republican Neo-Liberals when they need it. Liberal Democrats have little power.

Superposition has a rational response to an irrational circumstance. Trump does not constitute “half of a pair of pliers.” Maybe some republicans do, but trump is mentally ill, and his mental illness is evident and on display for all to see. It simply is not true that there are two “sides” to this issue. The republicans nominated and elected a mentally ill individual focused only on his narcissism as catalyzed by his appeals to fear and anger, and a good measure of outright ignorance.

Please do not grant a false equivalence to trump by comparing him people of either party who are essentially sane. We have (finally) broken through the language barrier to declare trump as a liar, and a compulsive one at that (mental illness always provokes compulsive behavior).

Now that honest people have correctly labeled trump as a liar, the honest among us, of whatever political stripe will begin to speak of him correctly as “mentally ill.” The “emperor” truly has no clothes. What will it take for someone to publicly call this condition as what it is? How much evidence does one need before coming to this conclusion? The discourse is already tainted by lies. Will it take some truly disastrous trump decision for folks to wake up? Don’t worry, that’s going to happen. Mental illness is like that. Once you normalize it, there’s a long road back to step away from the malignancy.

Maybe Shumer should talk to any relatives who survived the Holocaust and ask them about fascists.

Right on McFadden!Minority LEADER Schumer? LEADING what? Complete useless, spineless, lethargic dweeb! Are we seriously supposed to take back congress in ‘18 with this anemic figurehead, in a state of chronic torpor? Good luck to us….No wonder the GOP can’t stop laughing…
