Shouldn’t there be an empty viewing stand on the other side….

All of the people Donny has to thank, the Russians, the FBI, Alt-Right fake news, Goldman-Sacs (this would be a surprise to those who hated Clinton for it, but now that Donny is beholden to them, it is okay again) Angry Tweets and Fox news. You can see pulling up the rear are those who will benefit the most, Big Oil, the Trump brand (he is going to make so much money off of being president) and Chinese manufacturing. Have fun, this is all on your Republicans.

Challenge (for both Trump supporters and non-supporters): This cartoon is very busy, with obviously a lot of symbolic elements in its composition. How many different symbolisms can you identify? Of course, some are obvious, like the Twitter bird. Others are less obvious, or maybe not even symbols. For example, the gold oil derrick has a smiley face on it. Does the smiley face itself have some symbolic connection? What about the military men behind Trump… do they represent specific individuals?

I will NEVER understand why working class people voted for Trump. Forget WHO he is (that is to say, a racist buffoon, a sexual predator, a criminal imbecile, and a dangerous lunatic), and look at WHAT he is! A corporate welfare queen notorious for hiring illegal aliens, declaring bankruptcy (six times so far!), and, on the rare occasions that he actually made actual products, made them overseas! I mean, how can people NOT spot so many red flags?

Nobody voted for Trump, well maybe 10-15%, but he is not an admirable person, no matter what your standards are for admirable. They voted against the establishment that has been working for the 1% for the last 50 years. Since that time, the productivity of the American worker has skyrocketed, and we are generally acknowledged to be the best in the world. And, we are producing goods that we can’t afford to buy. Most of the value that we are producing is going to the 1%, who use that money to buy politicians who make laws that insure that they keep making most of the money, which they can use to buy more politicians, who will write more laws so they can make more money to buy more politicians and etc etc etc. Until something is done to fix that problem, no Washington insider is going to win a national election.

Trump is by no means an “outsider”, for the simple reason that Trump’s been bribing politicians for decades. Mostly Republicans but also some Democrats. And, of course, he’s always been working for the 1% himself, using his daddy’s money to hire people to do his thinking for him. The fact that anybody considered him to be part of the solution, instead of a prime part of the problem, just completely baffles me.
