Republicans couldn’t find a Death Panel so they’re making their own.

It is amazing how many people who receive healthcare through the Affordable Care Act are calling for the repeal of Obamacare. Too stupid to realize that they are the same thing.

The Republican party has an opportunity to make a single payer, universal access, basic health care system available to the people and reduce the unnecessary middle man costs completely. Do they have the will and ability to do it?

The reason we don’t have single payer is that the Republicans wouldn’t allow it to be passed, due to influence from the insurance companies, so the Democrats got the best deal they could- Obamacare. The Republicans are now in a position where they may have to simply expand Medicare to cover everyone, because it is possible to do that in the time frame they have allotted themselves. The Democrats in congress will vote for it gleefully, since it was what they wanted in the first place. The Republicans will vote for it because they have backed themselves into a position where they have to do something. And, the American people will benefit from Trumpcare— which will be an improvement over Obamacare, because it was what Obama was trying to do in the first place.

No, Obama sabotaged the deal by not using Single Payer to barbain for a “back door” govt aid. Instead he dumped it gratis so that the “back door” will be bargained away and we are left with a modified Republican subsidy idea to the Health Care Corps. But then Pres. Obama is no friend to the Liberal and Progressive, he is a Neo-Liberal who would prefer it all in private hands and does what he can to make it happen.

If Republicans have the courage of their ‘convictions’, they’ll also repeal that pesky requirement of ERs having to treat people even if they can’t pay
You know, where all them illegals git all their free health care.

Wow, on first glance I thought this was going to address Obama’s pulling the rug out from underneath Cuban’s fleeing the Castro’s. But then I realized who wrote this strip.
