Republican: Let's see. Repeal and replace... we have no plan. Repeal and deface... we could just scribble all over a picture of Obama. Repeal and encase... treat sick people like the Chernobyl reactor. Repeal and delay... replace it with deficits. Repeal and betray... replace with get well soon cards. I got it. Repeal and run away.

Why should Congress care at all? They have the best health care, pension, benefits package on the planet.
And, I’m suuure the new billionaire cabinet will be just as sympathetic to the issue.

So what did we have before the ACA? Why is is the Fed’s job to provide healthcare? Where in the Constitution does it say that?

Why do we have to expand the comic in order to see it all? Whose brilliant idea was this, somebody who makes a living selling computer mice?

The new format makes it harder to view. You have to click to expand, you have to click to see comments and there is not a nice way to select the new toons off a list.

The ACA is the Republican plan. The Heritage Foundation, a Republican think tank, came up with the plan that Obama adopted way back when Hillary Clinton was trying to get universal care for all Americans. The Republican plan was a gift to the insurance industry and the Medical industrial complex. The slightly modified plan that Obama managed to get though has its flaws and could be fixed with bipartisan support. Unfortunately, at this point, the Republicans are so drunk on obstructionism that they would even obstruct themselves from success at governing. They now have complete control of the three branches of government and the media. Will they govern? No. Will they loot from the middle class? Yes. Obviously to fix it keep voting Republican. Surly to keep voting for the party that keeps making a mess of things for working Americans will work. Won’t it? Oh, no that’s the definition of insanity!

If we’re going to replace the ACA we must do it right to save the most money. Single payer, as all other advanced Countries have found, is the only way to go.

I want to replace Obamacare about equally with replacing the old format on this page with this labor intensive new one. Put it back the way it was. It “was not known for beauty, but it sure done it’s duty.”

The GOP isn’t intelligent enough to govern a country, just “service” the rich.

What part of “provide for the GENERAL welfare” don’t CONservatives understand? The old saw is correct: Conservatives run on the platform that government doesn’t work, then prove it when elected! And, to paraphrase Mel Gibson: GIVE ME BACK MY FORMAT!!!And just WHO were they listening to?

The American Hospital Association study of the ACA found that a repeal of the ACA would cause many Americans to lose coverage, as well as access to their prescribed care regimen, resulting in"an unprecedented public health crisis." The ACA has allowed 20 million American to obtain comprehensive, meaningful and reliable heal care coverage and reduce the overall rate of uninsured Americans to a historic low at 8.9%.
