Liz: Before I turn the discussion over to my colleagues, I'd like to raise my voice in protest over the devaluation of a favorite word, "superstar'! What has happened to this former superlative? It is used today without discretion! For example, of the 90-odd guests on last season's Howard Cosell Show, 83 were introduced as "superstars"! Can we save "superstar"? I think so. But it will mean developing a tough new set of criteria! Woman: Any suggestions, dear? Liz: Yes. I move we start from scratch- only Bob Redford! Man: Ah, the basics! Woman: Hear! Hear!
