Pre inauguration and the actual repeal of the act is already in jeopardy. Next up self financing the big, beautiful wall instead of having Mexico pay. Gee would’a thunk.

Meaningless opposition is easy. Governing takes grownups. The hall is rented. The band engaged. We will see if they can dance.

A whole economy has grown up in and about the ACA, and cannot be dismantled without wreaking havoc in the healthcare industry, let alone the harm to the 20 million or so who have benefited from subsidized insurance, expanded medicaid and state insurance programs.

Remember, Kellyanne has assured us that no one who has insurance will lose it. . .

The theocratic faction could convert every one to Christian reconstructionism (or pay a steep fine), make the 50% tithe mandatory, and they could give a portion of that money to private insurance companies to ration health care. The theocratic faction could also replace SS, Medicare and Medicaid with their charity giving. The streets would be safe with the 9:00 P.M. and bathrooms would have a birth certificate checker to direct people to the “proper” door. The size of federal government would be down to 12 people, just enough to manage the bigger, better military branches and complement each other of the dismantling of ACA and all other government services and reducing the wage-earners tax to 7%.

I woke up with a start, made a cup of hot cocoa and watched the news to make sure it was just a bad dream.

IMO the uncertainty we all face is the 100% creation of the dictatorial Democrats who refused any GOP input when writing this federal takeover of the private sector medical service industry. The myriad problems of its failures and for its repeal and replacement are owned totally by the Democrats.

    .

It will take experts to untangle and correct the rules for medical insurance, which like car insurance, is supposed to be purchased before the car wreck! (pre-existing conditions to be paid by insurance companies is insane.)

.But in the USA, anyone, with insurance or no insurance, has the right to go to a hospital and be seen by a Doctor and to be treated. There exist clinics and facilities funded by charities. Police Departments usually have rules to take sick homeless persons for medical help, locally.

    .

The Democrats and Liberal/leftists need to stop this campaign to smear and obstruct the work the Voters gave to the GOP majority to fix this theft by government totalitarians of the American Healthcare business. They are daily filling the media with Fake News and False Accusations. Voters need to give the GOP time and opportunity to work out the problems to improve and restore the private system.

the lowest premium increases in two decades, and finally, the ability to change my group plan to one that fit my spouse and I more accurately, and lower rates, with better actual coverage, were the the result of the ACA. Single Payer as my daughter has in New Zealand, would have made things even better, and FAR CHEAPER, and they have NO PROBLEM getting a GOOD DOCTOR quickly!

I worked for USPS for 29 years. YES, PRIOR to Obamacare!5 health plans later, because “they couldn’t make enough money”, INCLUDING one where my wife and I each had SEPARATE plans because it was CHEAPER individually than family! When that plan, United Health Care, left FEHBP, I went to my union plan, which I should have done years earlier!Growth in coverage, growth in membership, including affiliated memberships to get the plan, and mostly MINIMAL increases yearly. Now on SS and Medicare, but keeping the plan because my wife is 6 years younger, and needs health care. Minimal increase this year. Just got a $20K hospital statement for a knee/staph infection for her. $102 TOTAL owed!If Repubs want a realistic health care plan, they should emulate FEHBP!But they’ll probably look at it and break it!
