Trump has to do Putin’s bidding or Putin will call his billions (probably) in mortgage loans. Trump will do Netanyahoo’s bidding for popularity and because he admires the strong man. The winners of the election who will direct world policy for at least the next four years – the three Amigos – Trump, Putin, and Netanyahoo.
42% of registered voters stayed home in 2016 - finding the candidates undesirable? - and 0.46 of the 0.58 (that did vote) equals about 0.27, so, in this heavily gerrymandered, (with special weighting for rural areas) “republic”, only a little over 1/4 of the voting population were represented in the vote. And now as the same folks who claim the bible is to be taken literally, tell us we shouldn’t take the president-elect’s words literally, but just trust that he will do the the correct things by redistributing the wealth of the coasts to the heartland, but first, another tax break for the wealthy.
The same day, Trump conducted his first major fundraiser of his presidential campaign — an ultra-exclusive affair at the southern California home of borderline billionaire real estate investor Tom Barrack. The event reportedly raised $6 million.
.
And last week, Trump huddled in New York City with “some of the Republican Party’s biggest fundraisers and wealthiest donors,” the Washington Post’s Matea Gold reported. Among those offering Trump financial support he said he didn’t need: billionaire roofing executive Diane Hendricks, New York Jets owner Woody Johnson and investor Ray Washburne.
.
He followed it up with a tony fundraising affair in Boston, with lunch and a photo with Trump selling for $10,000, according to the Boston Herald’s Jennifer Miller. Trump today is in the midst of a fundraising swing through Texas.
The “red line” was Obama feeling what the country was thinking not a promise. Just like all of Trump’s promises are not true and no one expects him to actually do them. They voted on the feeling that he would do things.
.
No, I hold Obama accountable for “red line” in the sand and anything else he says. I hold Trump equally accountable on the promises he has made. I expect him to fulfill a healthcare insurance with no mandated by in, but will be cheaper and better than Obamacare and insurance companies will not be able to exempt preexisting conditions. No, double standard. So should you.
Thanks to the mechanism of the manipulated electoral college in states with heavy Republican gerrymandering, 27% of the American voters, who were outnumbered in the popular vote by a significant margin, have succeeded in putting the worst candidate in US History in the White House. America was a joke after “W” was picked by the SCOTUS to be POTUS, now that 27% has made us a total laughingstock. Putin has his hand up the “President elect’s” butt, and is laughing his own gluteus off! And Netanyahu is planning more seizures and apartheid abuses, with his “best buddy” about to enter the most powerful, and dangerous, office on the planet. Maybe Trump is just following the old adage of keeping friends close, and ENEMIES CLOSER?
About the best advice one can give at this point. I’ll gladly repeat it, to all parties involved, in fact. We need a little less people doing stupid stuff all around, honestly.
Too late Lisa – Donnie has already done plenty of stupid stuff. Made promises to Russia, including nominating Vlad’s buddy from Exxon for Sec. of State. Every other nomination either thinks the position shouldn’t exist or doesn’t know anything about it.

Trump’s not ideal, but he’s better than Hillary, ROLOF Sanders, Jeb! or Graham would have been. Or Stein.

He won’t. If nothing else, he recognizes that the world is safer when the US and Russia aren’t enemies. Bam Bam never quite got that.
