Tips for the New GoComics:

Navigation Tip: Instead of right clicking the strip title and opening in a new tab|window as we use to do, right click on the speech balloon and open in a new tab|window. This way you won’t have to reload your comic page when you want to go to another comic.

Screen Name/Avatar: Click on your Avatar (top of the screen to the right of SHOP) and select MY PROFILE and click EDIT. Then you change your display name and/or update your avatar. Note: Your display name will appear in all caps regardless of how you enter it.

Editing a comment: Until you refresh the page pressing Ctrl + Z in the comment box will re-display your comment so you can edit it and then repost it (then you can delete the previous one). Note this does not work when using Reply.

Creating a Blank Line: Type Enter Enter   Enter Enter (  stands for non breaking space)

This is an nice variation on it. Better late than never…

@Tech insider: on my screen, there is no avatar next to ‘shop’. I really had to search to find the ‘my profile’ feature to change from using my email address to the screen name I’ve been using. And I always used to be able to stay logged in each time I left the site. Now I have to sign in each time. I honestly don’t see that as an improvement. Also, I was very happy with the ‘A-Z’ page before; it let me look at each comic I wanted to see, and then move on to the next. Now I have to go all the way back to pick a letter of the alphabet. None of this seems like an improvement to me…
