Okay, I must admit I’d never thought about heaving over the side of the boat from a fish’s point of view….lol!

By the time fish get to it, the stomach acids have been neutralized and they just get bits of pre-digested food. If you’re grossed out by that, don’t think about the stuff “Bottom-feeders” like clams scallops and lobsters feed on.
Some friends went on a fishing trip in the Pacific. Apparently blueberry pancake, partially digested, work quite well when chumming.
