Man 1: Another grand slam today! And I'm only seven. What a groove to be young, black, and precocious. Man 1 Letter: Dear Michael, what's happening man? Everything is cool with me. I've had a pretty good summer so far. I've joined a local baseball team called The Black Batmen. We're pretty good and we hope to win an All-Ghetto Championship. Yesterday I went to a park where I saw my first tree. It was green and looked remarkably life-like. Well, that's the news. Nothing much else happened around here. It's been way dull. However, things seem to be picking up.
