What is missing since weeks is a strip with Saudi Arabia and Jemen, where the civilians have absolute the same terror, hunger and pain. But – wait….. the Saudis are the good ones – and than it is ok, isn’t it?

Check the Constitution. Congress declares and ends wars, not that enough Republican presidents have followed that document.

Just In: We never should have gotten involved in the whole “nation building” process. It is not the job of the US to decide who is a fit leader for a country and who isn’t. There is no argument that the whole Middle-East has become more and more unstable since Bush decided to overthrow Houssein. Absolutely nothing has been accomplished in Afghanistan. The Syria quagmire can be laid directly on the US government: “We can trust these rebels. They’re OUR rebels.” No! No! and NO!!! again. We have not made the life one one single Syrian better, nor Iraqi, nor Afghan. And if that isn’t bad enough the whole “Arab Spring” thing, which our government supported has done nothing but make things worse for the very people who helped by overthrowing their own governments. In short, the only people who have benefited from the current situation in the Middle East are the Egyptians, and that was only after the military staged a coup to save them from themselves.

We do not belong there. We are serving no purpose other than as a rallying point for the radicalized Islamists; whose numbers are growing. We do not belong there. We need to get all our troops out of the Middle-East, and let the chips fall where they may. Far fewer lives would be lost if we did.
