Oh, yeah? Didn’t someone once say that a nation that would rather give up its own liberty for more security shouldn’t deserve either liberty or security? I have a feeling we don’t.
I know that I’m less safe than I was 15 years ago. I know that loss of civil liberties isn’t the only reason for that, but I’m also certain that incursions into my civil liberties haven’t made me safer than I would have been without those incursions.

I felt about as safe as anyone can in this day and age. But then the election happened & I suddenly fear for this nation as a whole
