Foreigner, corporate rock at its best.

’Let’s look at the lineup for this concert. Who is on first?’‘Yes’‘Got it, Yes is on first’‘No, No; Who is on first’‘You just told me Yes is on first’….

For me, it’s “Waiting For a Girl Like You.” Especially just the words “I’ve been waiting.” Those notes and the way they’re sung just annoy me.

Having said that, there are a ton of current so-called “artists” that I find about a bazillion times more annoying than anything Foreigner ever did.

Ah, the Mixed Metaphor Song: “This mountain I must climb/Feels like the world upon my shoulders”.

I hate it too.

Surely no one can object to this campaign.

It drives us all places we’d rather not go.

Stephan. Keep your characters funny and non partisan. Leave the politics up to Mallard, Doonesbury, and non sequitur.
