If they look like they’ve hit high school and haven’t bothered with any type of costume, no candy. I’ll tell them to come back dressed up! I even try and have dog bones for the family’s that have Fido dressed up too!

That’s right. No costume, no candy. And dressing up in your football or cheerleading uniform doesn’t count.

Church I go to had event called Autumn Bash for yesterday 30th. I told them this would be biggest event day before Halloween. Last year they had 500 they far exceeded that number to 700. Saw the most creative costumes Evan adults wore costumes. One mom made hers using spools of thread, young lady a guitar, another mom dressed like Cinderella, a few guys dressed up, our own Pastor wore a heavy metal wig he greeted everyone, the children’s Pastor did not wear costumes he and helper were all over the area.

Here’s a suggestion for you fellas’

Starting Monday I will be turning in, not the spammers, but the website business site that they are providing the link for to our state’s attorney-general. He loves to prosecute spamming website owners.

Do the same for your state’s attorney-general; since go-comics doesn’t wish to help, then we can simply have the spammers owners fined out of existence. Nothing encourages them to “move on” like tens of thousands of dollars in fines.

Also, just the fact that Go-Comics will have government officials monitoring this site and asking questions may help to encourage them to stop the spammers instead of giving them shelter.

occam’s razor, the spam bots make new users every time. Rhadamanthus not a bad idea - if the sites are in the States anyway.

A couple of years ago, two of the neighbourhood 15 year old girls came to borrow my youngest so they could go trick or treating. I offered them costumes from the dress-up cupboard (we do medieval feasts, etc) and they jumped at the chance.

We cut our kids off from trick-or-treating at 13, but they can still dress up and take their little siblings around the neighborhood like Holly is doing. With a sack for any residual candy that comes their way.

Then when they get home, they have the “duty” of checking the little kids’ candy haul for safety, with the understanding that a certain amount of it discreetly disappear into their own sacks. Less tooth-rot for the little kids, candy for the big ones, and Mom and Dad get to sit home and not traipse through the chilly neighborhood. Winners all around!

I chose for myself that I was too old for trick-or-treat, so I began taking my little brother out.

I’m going as Sonic the Hedgehog this year-I already have the spiky hair hat and the blue clothes-now I need the familiar red-and-white shoes.

I’m seventeen and my older sister and I still go trick or treating. We always dress up, though.
