I’ve heard every comment depicted in the toon. Wait, watch, listen. Glad I voted so I can complain.

OK, Trump won….I’m willing to give him a fair chanc……annnnnnnd he hired a white supremacist!

You forgot pointless, futile nitpicking and wishing the Constitution didn’t say what it says.

You know what else is not helping? The Dems who are making excuses for Hillary’s loss instead of learning the lessons that should have been learned back in 2000. The longer the Democrats take to learn to stop running candidates that fail to energize their liberal voter base, the more Republicans will be able to push their own agenda—which happens to be the same as the corporate cronies pretending to be Democrats.

Judging from the people he’s putting in positions of power, he wasn’t a secret liberal. And now he wants security clearance for his kids, who’ll be running his empire?!?! Yeah, he really us cleaning up Washington. I mean cleaning out.

Our country has taken a few goose steps to the right, and the Democratic party was corrupted by its focus on money. Sorensen’s cartoon depicts the excuses I am hearing for ignoring the causes of our awful future. Thanks to her.

So is Trump going to set up a government institution of racism and religious intolerance?

I voted 3rd party, so I voted for no evil, but I ALMOST plugged my nose and voted for Trump because Hillary was still worse.

Given the positions that Trump has taken in the past, there are reasons for liberals to be less worried than conservatives had reason to worry had Hillary won.

I don’t know if things can be mended. Every day I read about more ugliness from Trump supporters. I wish they would crawl back under their rocks.

I was in the same position, but my choice was eased because I live in California – my individual vote is meaningless in a state that was around 2:1 for Hillary over Trump.

And so I voted for the Libertarian guy.

By the way, the heeling will begin shortly.

The well heeled will become even more well heeled. Everyone else will get a small income tax cut. And the deficit will grow.

And Republicans/Fox “news” viewers will cheer and cheer.

My hope, at my most optimistic, is that the next two years will be so bad that the Republicans lose control of Congress. I know, it’s probably a pipe dream, but it keeps me going.

Let the healing begin. The doctors are all ready to start applying leeches now.

So…not helping… sure, I get it. But what the hell SHOULD we do now? Not many options other than the one you say are not helping.
