Wasn’t Texas talking secession when Obama was elected? Seems the 2 party system doesn’t fulfill the hope of the founders, that we have a cooperative government that truly loves its country, reconciles differences, and legislates in behalf of all the people of the United States.

“State of Jefferson” folks have been long calling for breaking away from Oregon AND California to form a new state. Believe Sutter has to do with finding the gold and forming California the first time around.

California has now devolved to the level of Texas. Secession is as UnAmerican as the Confederate Flag. We are the UNITED states. If things don’t go your way on occasion, Get Over It !

California is great. I hope they can hang on through all this mess coming up over the next few years. Kamala Harris may be the next potus.
