The Dems knew millions of jobs would be lost to globalization, sstarting with NAFTA, and instead of retraining programs did nothing. Watched while Reagan broke the unions and did nothing. Said the knowledge economy would provide better paying jobs and did nothing while the college tuition increases prevented people whose jobs were lost from being able to afford tuition. So those people abandoned the Dems in turn. Now the elephants and their masters have free rein to betray those same people. Aand count on the Dems to … do nothing.
Since the mid 70’s both parties have done little for the middle class beyond making campaign promises. The Democrats after the Reagan rout, attempted to emulate the GOP policies and the NeolIberal (trickle down) concept which did little to help the average worker.

Profit became king, employment security went out the window as automation and outsourcing eliminated good paying jobs and neither party did anything to correct the problem of loyal hard working people not having decent wages.
I’m hoping the upset will change the mindsets of the self-serving parties and they will remember that at some time legislators have to do more than start funding their next reelection campaign … there should be loyalty to the people who put them in office not just the corporations.
One of the many great things about the election result is that all those who tried so hard to bolster Private Citizen Hillary and weaken President-Elect Trump like this artist utterly, totally, and completely failed. This is wonderful!
One of the reasons I voted for Trump was as a rebuke to the media who needs to remember that the real job of a free press is to hold ALL our politicians accountable and work for us, the citizenry. The free press is supposed to influence government by keeping it honest, not trying to influence the public to support a political party.
Given the vigor that much of the media, like the artist of this piece had for propping up Private Citizen Hillary, I had no faith that they would do anything other than protect her regardless of what she did. That is unacceptable.
At least with President Elect Trump, I can expect the media, and this artist, to endlessly be scrutinizing his decisions and actions and even though they will probably be doing it in order to get a Democratic President in 2020, at least indirectly, they will be doing their job, since most of these so called members of the “free” press don’t seem to have the ethical fortitude to rise to what they should be doing, working for us, the citizens, not for the DNC.
Funny how if you bother to think about it, what the Democrats are throwing a tantrum about are the existence of free elections that they can actually lose. Guess lefties like Anderson just can’t stand that anyone but themselves have the right to vote…
