At least George Wallace repented sincerely and changed his ways, making him the one kind of racist the GOP won’t defend: an EX-racist.

Which America does the Republican party want to drag us back to? 2008 when W had turned the country on a downward spiral that Obama pulled us out of? 1964 When women and minorities still had no rights? 1865 when you could own people? How far back?Clinton wants to bring us forward. And we can do it together.

Racist Trump is pushing the GOP into racial hatred.

The racist Southern Strategy shall rise again.

If I recall correctly Clinton called AA’s “Super Predators” and is in favor of our current immigration laws that separate working undocumented parents from their children who are born in this country. What way of life are you referring to Rogers? Last I checked Clinton herself is also white and her husband signed that Omnibus crime bill that locks minorities up at higher rates than whites.

If only we were the country they told me we were back in school.

While some Federalists tried to restrict the franchise to those with an acre of urban land or a section (640 acres) of rural land, the measure was beaten back by the Democratic Republican Party with some exceptions which today would be called “voter restrictions” rather than disenfranchisement. Compromise was not a dirty word back then.

RE: the shirt in last panel. When the border was more open, Mexicans came in to US to pick crops, process harvests and do other jobs that US citizens won’t do. Then they would go back to Mexico. I feel as if I’m in a Star Wars movie with the Rethuglicans trying to take over with Drump having the part of the Evil Emperor, or maybe Pence is the Evil Emperor and Drump is Darth Vader. The Rethuglicans have certainly turned to the Dark Side.
