Ted doesn’t like to see other people’s insane theories out there for two reasons: One is that he’s jealous, the other is that theirs are actually documented.

This is an interesting re-do on history and on the future. I don’t think either scenarios played out this way. We attacked Iraq because they flew planes into our towers on 9/11. we TRIED to attack them for wmd, but the inspectors didn’t find any, so W needed another reason to attack. The 9/11 attacks allowed him to make up a reason.Clinton is not talking about attacking Russia, just because it is helping Trump by releasing Wikileaks showing post-election strategy emails. In fact, other than being as embarrassing as anyone’s strategic emails being exposed in the middle of the race, there isn’t even that much there.

It should be noted that there does seem to be evidence that Russia was involved in the DNC hack, even if political cartoonists don’t understand that evidence: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2016/jul/31/what-we-know-about-russias-role-dnc-email-leak/

It’s also possible the Russians have decided to implant a control unit in Ted’s head. His cartoons are making less and less sense recently.Come on Ted, who do you REALLY want for President? Stein? The Greens have no policy other than “green.”And Gary Johnson appears to have used more than weed based on his statements.

I wish you would provide a solid link to back up panel 4. I don’t trust the corporate media, but but when I see headlines like “Yes, 17 intelligence agencies really did say Russia was behind hacking” , I expect to see something in, say, Alternet, the Intercept, or The Nation refuting that claim.

I agree with Cerabooge. There is evidence Russia was behind the hacks and even altered the emails prior to releasing (leaking) them.

One thing for sure, the military industrial complex (MIC) will make out like bandits. Even though, in this case especially, it actually does matter who wins the election, we will still, most likely, have some sort of extreme money making military adventure. When over 50% of the federal budget goes to the military, they can’t lose.

We have way more people on the planet than the planet can sustain. The limit is around 2 billion. We have 7 billion plus and folks are humping like crazy to get it to 8 billion and beyond. The result of any population of any living thing, when it over reproduces, is a massive crash in population. Sometimes this crash results in total annihilation of the living organism. In this case, we humans are signing our death warrant by over breeding beyond the capacity of the planet. The correction will not be pretty.

If you want to speed the correction along and make it very ugly and MIC very happy then vote Republican, if you want to slow it and perhaps take measures to voluntarily adjust and reduce the population growth rate then vote Democrat even though that will probably make MIC unhappy. We do have a choice. Will it be taken? History tells us NO.

We are still stuck with the results of W’s invasion of Iraq.

Al Gore won the popular vote but the dirty right wing Supreme Court elected W.

You see what happens when you let a loser republicon win.

There are plenty of non-government cyber-security analysts saying it was almost certainly a Russian backed hack. The opposite was true of Bush’s claims in 2003. Fidelis Cybersecurity & Mandiant agreed with Crowdstrike’s assessment that the hackers were Russian.

    .

My guess is that our government could provide evidence that Russia was responsible, but going public with proof would require a public reaction. This is the opposite of what Bush did in 2003. He took bad speculation & presented it as proof.

    .

I doubt Ted Rall or many people who aren’t completely uninformed thing Putin is a good leader for Russia or that Putin’s expansion of Russian influence in other countries is a particularly good thing for those countries. Clinton isn’t talking invasion, but she will be more inclined to push back against this. I know Rall feels like we’re just as bad as the Russians, but I don’t agree. We are far from perfect, but our record pales next to Russia’s when it comes to using unsavory methods to go after perceived enemies, regardless of collateral damage.

Once again, cartoonists are not reporters. Hyperbole is a tool of their trade.
