Trump proved what a tissue thin set of lies the republicon platform was based on. Trump demolished them because he knew what kind of empty headed corrupt morons republican leaders are. No one should ever take the GOP seriously again.

What a load of BS! For you to even hint that the two parties are equal in their misconduct is unforgivable. Trump was created out of right-wing Repugnant Party lies and half-truths that they have been spewing since Nixon. The Dems obviously have their problems, but to compare them to the Repugnants who are mere obstructionists is an abuse of your art. That the Dixiecrats and the other racists joined the Repugnant Party was not an accident. When they knowingly and willfully nominated Trump and continue to support him, they are beyond the pale. Shame on you for pretending that the two parties are the same.

I wonder if any of you who preferred Sanders think he could have countered Trump’s mudslinging as skillfully as Clinton. One of the reasons why conservatives have such incredible hate for the Clintons, is that they have proven over & over that they can beat the Republicans at their own game.

    .

Trump may have been the only Republican who couldn’t beat Clinton, but she may have been the only candidate who could beat Trump.

There is one way to combat this sort of silliness, VOTE! Go Vote for your chosen candidate, vote!

If you really think both sides are the same, for god’s sake don’t vote.

Both sides are definitely not the same. Clinton won’t be perfect, but will be exponentially better as a president than trump could ever hope to be. The Democratic Party has evolved over the years in order to stay viable. The GOP will have to make a few changes as well. I have already heard that the GOP will adopt super delegates in the same way that the democrats have. The GOP will call them victory delegates but they will be the same idea as super delegates. Both sides have to appeal to a wide number of people in order to be viable.

The right wing demonization of the word socialism is the reason we do not have an affordable healthcare system like every other industrialized country in the world.

The nice thing is you can vote against mudslinging, and vote against immoral policies, and vote against bigotry, and vote for logic and science and evidence-based policies, all in the exact same way. Straight-ticket Democrat.
