From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:“Always on My Mind” is an American country music song by Johnny Christopher, Mark James and Wayne Carson, recorded first by Gwen McCrae (as “You Were Always On My Mind”) and Brenda Lee in 1972.
From Wikipedia: Pareidolia is a psychological phenomenon involving a stimulus (an image or a sound) wherein the mind perceives a familiar pattern of something where none actually exists.Common examples are perceived images of animals, faces, or objects in cloud formations, the man in the moon, the moon rabbit, and hidden messages within recorded music played in reverse or at higher- or lower-than-normal speeds.
Welcome back little buddies (nosies?) I’m glad to see that your ‘extra bits’ haven’t been censored, but with all this pareidolia about I can’t be certain that it’s not my imagination.
I’m impressed that Teresa would use that word three times in one conversation bubble. I see Grace the Face in my dreams. She IS the woman of my dreams.
For who among us has not viewed the night sky and seen The Great Devourer, Eater of Souls and Destroyer of Worlds, hovering in the spaces between the stars?
Pareidolia is not limited to visual stimuli. Persons with tinnitus, an affliction of the auditory nerves, usually in the higher frequency ranges, are often treated to various non-existent sounds that arise from a constant ringing, or even voices, which can also be controlled with practice. Many consider dreams to be a form of pareidolia, as the brain sorts and stores present and remembered stimulus, creating a narrative conforming to one’s current state of awareness, like any news media might. From Wikipedia:
Crickets (also known as “true crickets”), of the family Gryllidae, are insects related to bush crickets, and, more distantly, to grasshoppers.

Good news. GoComics has raised the character limit to 2,000 characters (effective today) so you no longer need to do your serial comment thing.

I don’t drink soda now, so I can adopt the conservative position: it doesn’t affect me, so why should I care?
