I once saw a judge deliver instant rehabilitation to a young guy who thought it would be fun and profitable to sell meth.“I therefore sentence you to serve a term of twenty years in the Department of Corrections…” and stopped. Said nothing for a full ten seconds, while the idiot sat there and tried to suck the seat cushion into his butt, and his mother fainted. The judge finally started back up, “….probated for ten years.”
