Is this sort of portable classroom thing at all common in the real world? I assume it’s a temporary fix while Petey’s school is repaired or a new one is built.
On a sadder note, I realize that I’ve now been following this strip on GoComics long enough that it’s starting to repeat. I don’t know if they do the full run here, but I may just get the treasury.

Is there anything the teacher doesn’t do to embarrass Petey?

A maze of portable classrooms? So the class is learning how to orient yourself? What’s next? A hall of twisted mirrors?

@Kaputnik. In my area they’re common, to ease overcrowded buildings.

AS a youngster I had the same experience. Unfortunately, it was inside a school building with only two corridors. Sigh.

Petey is absolutely correct.
Such portable classrooms (and they are fairly common) should be equipped with GPS locators so that Search and Rescue, or students, can find them….
