Dern pet giant toads! Gotta watch ‘em all the time.

Boy has always needed a good tongue lashing.

Lio has the ultimate “why I was late for school” excuse. Either that, or the ultimate science project: Journey to the Center of the Amphibian.

It”s going to get worse before it gets better.

Oh no! Lio has croaked.

Lio, don’t take your toads to town!

Whoops! It looks like Lio forgot to feed one of the critters. With the menagerie he has at home, it must take ages to feed everyone before school. I bet he doesn’t forget to feed Cybil though.

BTW, I always wondered why Lio kept his hair so pointy - always thought it looked like an old can opener - now I realize that’s what he uses it for when his pets go bad.

Probably just as well. He was never going to get that thing onto the bus anyway.

Now Lio has a good excuse for being absent from school.
