Have you looked behind you boy?

as if an enormous arachnid is hard to miss

Now if someone nearby loses a giant fly . . .

Even if he didn’t post the signs, I’m sure Lio would be the first one the city would call.

This reminds me of the Spider-Man teaser trailer (and poster) which was pulled in 2001.

He’ll find out when the spider is blasted by missiles.

That’s OK, Lio: everyone fails a spot check once in a while…

Normally at this time of year, the spiders start entering the buildings.

Spidey is trying to catch the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, and have him over for lunch…

Just think what size that spider’s parlor must be! (Yeah, yeah, I know the “parlor” was its web but I was wondering where the spider stayed when it was at home, and…..never mind.)

Lio is notorious enough that he doesn’t even have to post a phone number on his “lost spider” fliers. And if the spider doesn’t get the townsfolk, nor the giant robot, nor Ishmael, nor Cybil, maybe one of Lio’s nuclear warhead missile tests will….

Now, where are my extra large boots?

That doesn’t look like Lio’s spider in the background, his has a stripped body and a bigger head, probably belongs to some other kid.

I guess he DID adopt the one from the library. And it’s humungous and hungry.
