Fenway Park, except there would be a ‘W’ and an ‘O’ in front of men

I don’t think this is specifically addressed to women, but it certainly seems like it (you should have been more careful Tatulli). I wonder if it’s a call to New York having just one bathroom for both genders.

    Standy-uppies and sitty-downies?

I guess I took it differently, based on the stadiums I’ve been to where men’s and women’s restrooms are fairly far apart. I just assumed it meant that there are regular folks (in this case, men) and then there are jerks (but if the same gender). Having said that, I think it’s way too open for all sorts of undesired interpretations.

Gonna need more than one of those doors.

I’m sure Tatulli meant to imply WOMEN’s was around the corner and both of these signs apply to MEN’s room. The dilemma for Lio is: “…which is he?”

How about one is an in door and the other is an out door. Men go in the in door. Jerks go in the out door.

Would this be a right or left handed jerk?

IMHO the comic would have been better if the two doors were labeled “women” and “jerks”.

Y’all are so wrong here. The jerks room is reserved for certain politicians who reside here in the Great North State.

First of all, this IS a very nice comic here. Remember, people who go looking for offense are sure to find it.

Second: these are obviously both originally meant to be men’s rooms. See how the doors both open the same way? If the side-by-side rooms were meant to be separate for men and women they would be mirror image.

Third, it’s the funny papers. Don’t take everything so seriously.

And last, but not least, thank you for spelling ‘whoa’ correctly.

Heck, I’ll use the Jerks room if the lines are shorter.

See, the problem is that not all men are jerks (although a lot of them are trying their best!)

Perhaps the cartoonist recently visited a building that dates back to the era of segregated rest rooms.

? Is writer saying women are jerks? Or is it a commentary on bathrooms and gender identity?

I don’t mind some ambiguity, but this is a little much.

I took this as a criticism against “men”, rather than women. There are men, and then there are jerks who think they’re men but act like rude children.
