This has really caught on. You can see them everywhere searching for a pokemon. Unfortunately they are too engrossed and it is a matter of time until we see news stories of accidents and bad guys taking advantage of kids.

People keep focusing on the negative when it comes to Pokemon Go. It’s a game that gets people up and moving around, going outside, taking walks. Families who would normally spend their free time sitting in front of a television are now walking their neighborhoods catching Pokemon. Not only are they being active together as a family, people are interacting with strangers – something that has been previously declared dead as a result of modern technology.

We had a really enjoyable time with the kids catching Pokemon in the back yard. It’s the first time I’ve seen my son playing outside for quite some time.

But the focus is IN THAT PHONE, not the actual environment, as the ’toon depicts.

@ OldCoalYeah, now they will gripe because…HEY! YOU KIDS GET OFF MY LAWN! Some people are just looking for a reason to be unhappy.

It was bad enough before this Pokemon Go nonsense: Some years ago in California a guy was looking at something in his hand (they believe it was a cell phone, but it was never found) and wound up walking off a cliff. I think it took a helicopter rescue crew to retrieve the body.-Darwinism at work.
