This cartoon is so far off course that it simply expresses Benson’s idol worship of the irresponsible contrarian who wishes to destroy every decent institution which holds a stable nation together. That we are coming apart from the seams is proof of this. His disdain for law and order, the nuclear family, and anything that has to do with our American heritage ought to paint him universally as the most Anti-American president imaginable. That so many people see him otherwise only presents their own mindless partisanship, and common disdain for outcomes that do not end with chaos and tyranny.
I don’t think they should allow comments on the editorial cartoons — most of them are rants. Cartoons are cartoons and editorial ones are the expression of the cartoonist.
And your comments, if any, objecting to, say, hate crimes against Blacks and other minorities—or they also all the fault of people who are genetically colorized differently than you?
The Founders recognized and protected it as a basic American right, even if you and/or Illegal Seagull are not so inclined. to acknowledge or appreciate..

I read that he got rid of 70 cops from the force after he took over. He’s right about cops being asked to do too much. Especially the ‘war’ on drugs.
