Because there isn´t a whole lot of fun playing against someone who clearly knows what they are doing, yet states they don´t.

I get mad when I lose but I find no satisfaction in winning. If I constantly win at something, it bores me.

Could always be worse: They could’ve been playing for big money (remember the early Flintstones episode where Fred over confidently bets ALL his wad against “Edgar”, and Edgar drills out of a deep sand trap and into the cup with….a driver!!). Nate actually COULD have Artur taking all his money, too!!
