The GOP and NRA have already exonerated you.The gun who actually invented the assault rife said it was never meant to be sold to the public.

The “gun who invented”???? An utterly nonsensical “editorial” cartoon to boot.

Guns are protected better than citizens are now. Bombing robots, assault weapons for the public and cops executing black kids on the street. Corporations get the first amendment, and one dollar equals one vote. because of the Second Amendment, we no longer need a Sixth Amendment.

Family of AR-15 Inventor Eugene Stoner: He Didn’t Intend It for Civilians

He designed the original AR-15 in the late 1950s, working on it in his own garage and later as the chief designer for ArmaLite, a then small company in southern California. He made it light and powerful and he fashioned a new bullet for it — a .223 caliber round capable of piercing a metal helmet at 500 yards.

“Our father, Eugene Stoner, designed the AR-15 and subsequent M-16 as a military weapon to give our soldiers an advantage over the AK-47,” the Stoner family told NBC News late Wednesday. “He died long before any mass shootings occurred. But, we do think he would have been horrified and sickened as anyone, if not more by these events.”

Re: the shooting of the Dallas Policemen. What could we have done to prevent it?

The shooter was male: ban gun sales to men. The shooter was black: ban gun sales to black people. The shooter was ex-military: ban gun sales to veterans. Somebody “should have known” and turned him into the Gestapo.

How about the fact that media tried and convicted the cops who shot the person that caused the demonstration in the first place. By hyping the that situation for the purpose of ratings, they encouraged the violence. Even POTUS threw a pint or two of gasoline on that fire.

When we get rid of trail by media and get back to reporting actual facts (which I do not know but neither does the media), then maybe we’ll have responsible actions and responses.

The shooter merely aimed the gun and pulled the trigger. The media is the true mass murderer.

So what is to be done about the gun crime-rate? I still don’t hear any answers from the party of No.

Odd cartoon, since the firearms homicide rate has been steadily dropping for the last few decades, while at the same time the number of guns, gun owners, and concealed carry licensees has been increasing steadily.

We’re already doing something about the “gun crime rate”, and we’re doing it with more guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens.

Apparently the cartoonist is yet another of the many anti-gun people who don’t know anything about guns, gun laws, or gun statistics, but nevertheless think their opinion matters.
