    Seriously?!?

Here in the UK there are about half-a-dozen free-to-air digital kids’ channels. If you can’t find a selection of cartoons and animations at just about any time that your kid’s are awake, you’re really not trying. And as maybe half of them are voiced in American accents, I have to presume they’re not confined to this side of the Pond.

Just saw a news story (very quickly while scrolling FB) that TV had aired it’s last Saturday morning cartoon. I remember waking up early and waiting for the “Test Pattern” to go off (6am) and the cartoons to begin. This was early 1960s…..

I honestly don’t remember “Rocky and Bullwinkle” as a Saturday morning Cartoon Show. It was on in the afternoons at first, then it went to prime time for a season or two…

I miss those days as well, used to look forward to the Friday preview show of all the new cartoons for the new season. Also in the old days you could get an education watching game shows all day when you were home sick. Now it’s she’s back for the 15th time and sure he is the father on Maury.

Gray – don’t you dare tell momma that she was wrong. That will NOT go well.

Saturday mornings were magical times as a kid. I can still remember all those cartoons. That and a big box of Quisp Cereal with Whole Milk and I was in Heaven! Sigh…
