I’ve never latched on to the whole “things to do before you die” craze. There is literally no other time to do things than before you die, so…why add that phrase? It doesn’t add any importance or urgency to the list. I’d be MORE drawn to a list of “101 very popular books/movies/places.” It’s the same list, but at least I’d know why I should try those things. Don’t tell me what to do before I die.
A lot depends on what age you are when you start making these lists. A book a week might be doable, likewise a movie. Not so sure about places to visit unless they’re very close.

Maybe you can read the books and watch the movies as you’re traveling to places you must visit.
