Hey Nabuquduriuzhur, I was on a Yucca Mountain field trip around the same year (Stanford Earth Systems program to see how they handle nuclear waste). I didn’t wander off on my own, so I’m pretty sure I’m not your girl…. I was pretty impressed with the experience - partly because of seeing Yucca Mountain with my own eyes, and also seeing the desert for the first time (it really was very beautiful). Hope you had enjoyed your trip too (sounds like you must have….)
