In the pre-internet days we used to discard old news (old newspapers, magazines) and old interviews were not readily available (youtube).Now local events are magnified our of proportion and preserve for posterity. The world is getting better, but that doesn’t sell and can’t be used to generate imaginary horrible for people to be afraid of.
