Is it me, or does Cutter John look waaay younger now than he ever did back in the 80’s?

So are the buns a metaphor for Bernie Sanders? Looks and sounds filling but will only result in gridlock? Or are they a reflection on orange topped Trump, obesity inducing pablum?

Opus is, it seems, not “too smart.” On the other hand, Cutter John is less than happy; while Opus may be killing himself with 1400 calorie hot sticky buns, but he will be dying happy! Is that really so bad?

I thought that Cosy Fillerup was lost forever, but here she is for the first time since, oh, maybe last September. And I had to do a double take to figure out that the man was Cutter John, since he had shaved off his trademark mustache and traded his wheelchair for crutches. Add that to the fact that he isn’t pretending to be Captain Kirk, he seems like a completely different person. I didn’t get the political metaphor.

Maybe a sticky bun is just a sticky bun. Maybe.

I forgot one penguin:Pengo (1982)- Arcade video games were the most popular craze in the early 1980’s (at least one cabinet arcade game could be found in just about every public facility excepting churches in those days). The little red penguin Pengo was overshadowed by the likes of Pac-Man and Donkey Kong but his game was still a popular one remembered to this day. The goal of this game was to navigate Pengo through a maze of ice blocks while pushing the ice blocks around to crush enemies called Sno-Bees. The background music was the then popular dance tune Popcorn. My friend joked that Pengo faced walruses in the higher levels of the game, but that wasn’t true.
