Nonsense! That worked long ago, but they have decades since increased the diameter of the cardboard tube (to make less product look the same size, thus squeezing more profit without raising prices). Now, when you pull on an over-the-top roll, it can lift on the spindle, pushing the roll against the wall & causing premature tearage.Down-the-back is the only logical way.
