Quick! Break out the mescal, four more tabs of acid, and better reload the .357 mag with hollow-points. This here is bat country!

    Interesting name, indeed.

As an architect and sometimes building inspector, I also cringe at the thought of a metal chimney passing through a thatched roof on a timber-frame structure…

It might not be as idiotic as it seems at first glance. Remember, these guys have access to magic, or at least divine power. (And maybe they keep the thatch cool by letting the Frost Bats roost there?)

I have a question, is it pronounced “Bow-dee, or Boo-dee”?

I wonder if the name is a reference to the ride in England or Charles Manson.

The character in the strip’s name is pronounced “Boo-Dee” with the accent on the first syllable. It’s a long story, but it has something to do with something my son used to say when he was 3. “Helter Shelter” is nothing more than a play on “Helter Skelter”, the Beatles song, I thought it would be a funny name.

So, in short, Boody rhymes with Doody?

Yes, I suppose so. Or Cooty, Hootie, Moody,… Rooty-Tooty_Fresh-and-Fruity. All of those.

bmonk - ah yes, magic fire protection. By the same people who did the structural engineering for the Kansas City Crown Center.

Down to four days a week J.T.? Remember, Merlin was born in the future and grows older as he travels into the past. He already knows what Boody adopted or if he was successful as a pet owner.

Except that the KC Crown Center was protected with magic from engineers; this one (apparently) uses divine (or otherwise really effective) magic.
