For some reason that makes NO sense, republican people seem to like the deranged Don.He would also be a disaster Don.

Meh. Anymore, does the GOTP even have anyone or anything that might approximate an “elite?” Leadership, even?

Obama is going to leave the country in much better shape than he found it – and that’s not saying much. The Republicans do what they do best – spin, blame, lie, make up stories. They all signed a pledge to support who won the primary – who will be the first to break their promise?I’m not sure it will matter, I don’t think any of the republicans have the numbers to beat Clinton at this point.

Yes, just as the GOP stopped Obama; at the Third Term!

The government is not a business. Business leaders generally are disasters at governing. We have a democracy, not fascism. Obama has been remarkably successful, despite significant headwinds from the party of No.

Trump is saying what a lot of voters secretly FEEL, not think. Thinking has absolutely nothing to do with it.

What worries me is that this whole GOP debate/primary is lowering the bar for civility. When will we start hearing, on the street, loud proclamations of what Donald says and, presumably, thinks?

Businesses are run for profit often at the expense of their workers, the environment and without regard to long-term health of either the company or anything else. Governments are supposed to benefit the citizens and should NOT be run like a business.

Trump for President, hooray!Made money the old-fashioned wayHe’s rich ‘cause he was born that wayBut Donnie’s insane policyWill drain the blood from you and meLet’s face it, every plutocratIs nothing but a vampire bat
Trump! That worthless bozo bigotSpews raw sewage from that spigotOf his mouth. And Donnie’s brainsHave derailed like defective trainsFor this there is no healing lotionDonnie’s just a loco-motion
And little Donnie has the gallTo lie ‘bout who will pay for WallThere’s NO chance that it’s MexicoNor even men from TexacoNor China, nor Korea (North)But what the hell, let’s sally forth!(Who’s Sally Forth? The girl that DonIs strenuously cheating onHe also cheats on wifey, tooWho’s Wifey Three—remember, do!)
For bankruptcies Trump counts to fourAnd yet more sins—so many more! But let me summarize my screedThe evil Trump’s a fiend, indeed

I have here a book written in 1944; by Konrad Heiden, which perfectly describes the supporters, and rise to power of the Trump model, Adolf Hitler. Do NOT take this as a mere “attack” on “the Donald”, but find it, read it, and know, just who Trump is at his very core, and the psychosis of his “corps”.

Actually the tag line is funnier – I wonder if Mitch McConnell will vow to make Trump a One-Term President too?

Btw the title of the book is Der Fuehrer, and of course was written before the end of the war.

Lincoln wasn’t a businessman.Reagan wasn’t a businessman.Eisenhower wasn’t a businessman.Teddy Roosevelt wasn’t a businessman.W’s only success at businessman was on the back of the Texas taxpayers, who paid for a new baseball stadium, increased the value of the team HE owned and which he sold for profit; the taxpayers were left with mortgage for the stadium.W — the biggest welfare recipient to become president.

The last true businessman we had as President was Herbert Hoover. Seems like Georgie boy inherited his penchant for depression.

Maybe the Republicans will run Ted and Mario as a ticket? We could call them Cruzio! They could take their campaign rhetoric from the Car Talk promo on NPR: Do TWO people who don’t know what they’re talking about know more or less than ONE person who doesn’t know what he’s talking about?
