I am a Cruzer. If I ever see any evidence of a regulator earning his keep, I will repent and reform. But I have been looking for 40 years now, and that animal is rarer than Bigfoot.
Did you know that the regulatory bureaucracy costs 30% more than the military ($800b vs $600b), even ignoring the potential dynamic effect of abolishing the regulators. One could wipe out the entire pre-Obama national debt in less than 10 years by merely abolishing the regulators for that period.
