No one ever got rich carrying a sign and chanting. Only rarely does one get rich by working for someone else. To get ahead, you need to work for a boss you can trust to have your best interests at heart. You need to work for yourself.

Perhaps more relevant now than ever.

Peace, happiness, and self-worth come from inside. Doesn’t matter what is going on around you. Not that we shouldn’t stand up for basic human rights. Not happy with your life then change it.

Wow, that message could be taken to give permission to do so much harm! Like with the 99% protests, where so much vandalism, rape, theft, and drugs were done by the protestors because they believed they had a right to it. Changing the world does NOT give you permission to be above the law. You can change the law, but do it in peaceful, firm, but non-violent ways. Mass protests only serves to rile up the ‘animalistic’ tendencies inside us. When we see others acting out, we feel encouraged and permitted to do the same, and worse, and it will only escalate to chaos. Changing the world does not give you permission to hate. We can only change things by convincing those we want to change to change. Showing hate to them will not make that happen. Understanding where they are, and talking to them from their point of view will not only give you better success, but will also not bring the law against you, making your opponent look better.

Honestly, another comic like this one and i will delete it from my selections. There were some really good ones, but this one is dangerous.

Yes, choose your own way to burn, but beware of those who’ll exploit your rage to further their ends…for a great example study German history after World War One. I highly recommend William L. Shirer’s ‘The Rise & Fall of The Third Reich’ or ‘The Berlin Diaries’.

One problem with people who are willing to die for a cause is that they’re also quite willing for you to die for their cause, too. The suicide bombers are probably the best example of that phenomenon right now.

“I choose my own way to burn.” Sophie Scholl. It looks to me as if the woman portrayed has not so much chosen her own way as she has chosen to join someone else’s protest… or even “gang”. I believe there’s a difference.
