I think we would be better off if we randomly selected a used car salesman in a federal lottery for president. The current choices on both sides of the fence are quite dismal.

If Benson is interested in being “Fair & Balanced,” she could do a cartoon about Trump’s voter “message!”

But having loads of poor is the key for republicans? Really is sad to watch the ignorance of some people.

Look at all the little Donkeys run to get their free stuff from the Gubermint. The Employed don’t have time to go to the ice cream truck because they are busy earning a living AND supporting all the Socialists who want the government to take care of them at someone else’s expense.

@Guy Fawkes – Such language from you. “Pants on Fire” Wow! do you eat with that mouth? There is no lying in this cartoon. There are plenty of Socialists out there who don’t think they will ever be successful the old fashioned way so they want the government to Take money away from the Successful and give it to them – Most likely because they are “special”

@exoticdoc – The problem with Socialism is that it does work at first. The people who favor socialism see wealth that is out there in the form of goods and property and they want a piece of it. So they vote themselves massive tax increases for the rich and generous welfare benefits for the needy (Them).

What happens very quickly is that the productive Go somewhere else (if they are allowed) or stop working so hard since it gets taken away anyway.

Eventually the state has to force them to stay and force them to work – Think East Germany and Communist Russia.

@Guy Fawkes – I think I agree that you can’t have freedom for free. Where you and I differ is what I should expect to pay for that freedom.

I think I should have to be an adult and be responsible for myself.

You seem to think I should have to carry along every deadbeat and loser who calls himself/herself and adult but refuses to be responsible adult.

You won’t get much traction with me about the tired old “Corporate Welfare”. I never thought there should be a corporate income tax. You should be taxing the stock owners. But the liberals wanted to stick their hands in somebody else’s pocket and their solution was to tax the companies that are owned by somebody else.

“I’m getting close to retirement. I’ve saved enough so that I can enjoy my twilight years in comfort whether or not Social Security is still around. I don’t want some liberal Doofus deciding that he is better at spending my Savings then I am.”-It is far more likely the 1% will find a way to take that from you.

Pay your Social Security tax, Medicare tax, and property taxes that fund schools at the state level, and it ain’t free. Pay your income taxes for the $1.3 TRILLION spent so far for the failed F-35, and about the same that went down the tubes for the F-22, and you start to see how the golden parachutes at the Military Industrial Complex, for both retired military, and corporate barons, nope for taxpayers, that sure ain’t free! And don’t forget the Republicans are all promising more wars to drain your wallet, raise the debt, as they say “who me?”.

Breaking news! The stuff in the ice cream wagon isn’t free, but the cost is moderate and the patrons enjoy it.

“….Too bad the number of payers is declining, while the number of those with their hand out increases…”.Precisely what Bernie is saying is the problem – due to the top 1% loading the system in their favor and skimming off greater and greater wealth for themselves..“….What Sanders proposes is Greece…..”.That is like comparing the U.S. to Somalia. What Bernie is proposing is closer to Northern Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.
