He and the other Republicans/Fox “news” viewers have no clue what fascism and socialism even mean. They believe that Obama is both, along with being a communist. And probably a Muslim.
They are terrified of socialism and do not know that even a public library is socialistic as are most public things.
They think that when all government (public) owned land, including national parks and monuments, are sold off, we will somehow be more free.
The thing I fear is that conservatives may get lucky and control the government. If they have the presidency and congress and a conservative court, they will be able to impose their will. I can see it now, creationism in schools, save money by disbanding OSHA and the EPA. Isolate the US economically with tariffs to protect American jobs, eliminate waste by privatizing Social Security and Medicare while enhancing profits for insurance companies. Put women back in the kitchen, deport all those illegals to the other side of the wall, and maybe even bring back those Jim Crow laws. Of course everybody will be required to attend church on Sundays.
Yeah, screw those disabled people, children supported through college because a parent passed away (like Paul Ryan who collected when his father died) and anyone else who didn’t pay their money into Social Security. And considering the second part of the name and the volatility of the stock market, you want to see seniors that are left with nothing because they didn’t happen to make the right picks.-I do agree with your second statement about hitting employers of illegals, but that won’t happen. Several of these employers are either politicians or have one in their pocket. Take a look at Trump for starters.
For the sake of polite discussion, I ask: What would you do about those who opted out of Social Security, and for whatever reason, poor picks, bad advice, market downturns, arrived at retirement with nothing? Support from family? Religious institutions? There are bound to be people in that predicament. What should be done for such people, and who should do it?

I think it is pretty funny that most of the people that comment on this strip are obviously liberal (be that socialist, facists, etc). The comments are so entertaining, and usually so far from reality.
Do not be afraid of socialism. Many parts of American life have long been socialist. The post office. Public schools. Public roads. Police/fire departments. Public transportation. Things that private industry can’t run, because there is no profit. Or should NOT run, because they would abuse the power. We NEED socialism to make things happen. Public water utilities. TVA. Don’t let the ignorant scare you, nothing wrong with socialism.
