I just about strangled my husband the last time he used this phrase – I was gone for a week, had made meals that could be microwaved so he wouldn’t have to worry about anything except breakfast (froze some, left some in fridge). When I got home, all the food was still there (the refrigerated stuff had gone bad). I asked him why he didn’t eat any of it and he told me, “There were too many choices.” He had ordered food delivery everyday, instead. ARGH!!! At least I had stuff to take to work (from the freezer) now. I never prepared stuff for him in advance ever again.
