Better yet, keep former NFL players out of archery. And current NFL players. And MLB players. And NFL players. And soccer players. And race car drivers. And tennis players. And. golfers. And absolutely, positively, keep NBA, most especially the current NBA, and WNBA players out of archery.

If he could just tie in some Muay Thai blows, or maybe some Tae Bo Cardio… while using a Bo Long Oblong Long Bow… every Joe Blow would want a go.

    Actually…. umm maybe I’d better go….

There’s a reason I never figure out the punchline in these pun-strips before the last panel, no matter how obvious it is. My mind shies away from THE HORROR.

shoulda used jackson and howie insteda bo and long sew we coulda understud it beter

or maybe Long should have told Bo to go long and he would shoot him an arrow instead of pass a football. speaking of passing a football, I wonder how hard that would be. I passed a kidney stone once and thought I was going to die. but of course I do realize that there are many people all over America that pass footballs almost everyday and don’t seem to be the worse for wear and tear.

what do you people have against archery? it’s a perfectly valid sport requiring strength skill and good eyesight. is it only a sport if there is at least a minimal amount of pushy shovy like basketball which gets nastier than some people realize not to mention what can happen with a runner sliding into a fielder. yeesh. i see. no actual violence except historically. not a real sport. sigh. better tell those olympic athletes to yield the field to beach volleyball and that swimming dancing thing i forget the name of

Believe it or not, they pulled this off in Spanish. A longbow is “arco largo,” and it’s elongated (alargado) and named after Marcos Longo and Lucas Larco, so it’s an “arco largo alargado Longo Larco.” Somebody earned his day’s pay.

What qualifies “unique shape” in a long bow? It bends in the opposite direction?
