The last panel echoes the Times article, that recounts recent history of how our politicians have gamed the system.“And by recasting politics as a winner-take-all conflict between wholly incompatible ideologies and identities — as most of the presidential candidates have done — they help to closely align party and ideology, so that those who identify as Republican will always vote Republican and vice versa. When politicians know more or less who will vote and how, they can ignore most voters — including their own loyalists.”http://www.nytimes.com/2016/01/04/opinion/campaign-stops/trump-did-not-break-politics.html?emc=edit_th_20160104&nl=todaysheadlines&nlid=3625422

@The Wolf In Your Midst -Brains, who has brains anymore? From what I can see if the people of this country get any stupider they won’t be able to continue to live. And by stupider I mean like the black comic I saw in the early 90’s put it: “Understand I’m not talking mistake type stupid, I’m talking about people who can’t operate velcro.”
