This is like the gravity/ floor perspective in the ship. Like once they went inside the door it became flat inside but slanted outside. I bet Wally was thinking of that when he decided to try this. But will they catch up with Holly? She didn’t know she would end up anywhere else. She acted foolhardy in it could have been a trap, but when she “vanished” she had no idea what would happen.I don’t think she was being suicidal, she was angry and hungry, a bad combination. So even if she walked into the fall zone she is not dead.I’m glad because Holly is one of my favorite characters. She has lived with much trauma and is struggling to stay sane. This gives her a depth that many people can relate to. Before Wally said “both of us” refering to Kirby, her tenuous hold on sanity was upset by what Wally said, as well as Wally dissing her last contribution to the conversation.Wally has professed his love for her, but his day to day actions show he is not acting like someone protecting the love of his life. It is a common male/female disconnect, but females like to feel cherished and protected, especially if there is a clever new rival who obviously has at least a crush on her loved one.Wally has had trauma but he is more resilient, having survived topside for 5-6 years. Kirbee’s trauma was more recent but short lived and she has such a mindset that it seemed to roll off her back easily. The clock reflected was a great way to acknowledge the new year. I love this comic. the best one on go comics or anywhere.I still don’t know how to order the e-books for my grandson, since he doesn’t live with me. If anyone knows what I need to do or know to accomplish this please let me know.

Y’know the reflection on the window in Panel Four looks like a reflected clock face. The hands are pointed at midnight. Happy New Year, everybody.

Wally did say he felt ditto presence. Let’s hope his control still works.

Either Wally thinks he has enough control over the local dittos to make this work or he senses that the dittos will capture anybody who falls.

Kirbee has put her complete trust in Wally and taken a leap into the great unknown. And it will be unknown to all until Monday!

As in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, they are making a leap of faith.

Wally’s tail is still fluffed. The major tell that cats have of their emotional state.

I don’t suppose this would be a good time as any to see if Chic, being a bird anthro, can… I dunno… fly?

If you take a leap of faith,You might find yourself a wraith. But worry not if you believe,It’s not at all what you perceive.
